AWRA's 2010 Election Policy
Congratulations to The Hon. Julia Gillard.
The Australian Womensport and Recreation Association would like to congratulate Julia Gillard on reaching the highest position in politics in Australia. For the first time in Australia we have a female Prime Minister.
It is to be hoped that this historical change in politics may be an example to the sport and recreation industry, encouraging more women into leadership and governance roles.
